LOCK HAVEN — As always, Robb Elementary School has gone above and beyond to welcome their students for the 2024-25 school year.

Last year for the first day of school, Robb faculty and staff welcomed their students with a limousine and red carpet.

This year the red carpet made a return appearance, but so did a blow up obstacle course and inflatable tunnel for kids to run through.

Students gleefully crawled through the obstacles and slid down the slide on the other side, with many rushing through the tunnel to meet their parents for a last goodbye before awaiting teachers welcomed them into the building for their first day.

Principal Tyler Barth was inside the building helping students find their classrooms, making sure they got welcomed with a big smile.

He said, “Huge shout out to all of our (staff and faculty) who help get the building ready, to the teachers for getting the rooms ready.”

“We’re excited to start the year. A huge thank you to the parents for their patience this morning as we try to open the year with a bang and have fun. We’re going to get to know the kids this week and start on academics next week,” said Barth.
