CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) – Senator Joe Manchin (I-W.Va.) announced that Monroe County will be receiving $400,000 to extend the Pickaway waterline.

The funding, coming from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will help to expand access to clean and reliable drinking water for Union residents.

“I’m pleased the EPA is investing $400k to expand access to reliable drinking water for the residents of Union,” said Senator Manchin. “To ensure every West Virginian has access to clean, safe water, we must continue to upgrade and improve our water infrastructure. As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, I will continue advocating for federal investments to ensure our communities across the Mountain State have the resources they need to thrive.”
