OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation has finished up with the second phase of Oklahoma’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Plan, and you have until Aug. 19 to make your voice heard.

This plan is part of a larger whole under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, they’re reaching out for a public response since it’s necessary for phase two of this plan, which aims to set up EV charging facilities along alternative fuel corridors in the state.

Under this plan, Oklahoma will receive $66 million over the course of five years to upgrade and extend the network of EV charging stations.
