A source from Mubadala Investment Company recently revealed its infrastructure investment strategies to Infrastructure Investor.
Over the next 12-24 months, Mubadala Investment Company intends to make new fund commitments to co-investment, core, debt, fund of funds, opportunistic, secondaries, value-add with a bite-size of $200 million to $500 million.
The LP will focus on data centres, digital infrastructure, energy, renewables, social infrastructure, transport and utilities sectors. In terms of geographical focus, the LP will be region-agnostic, with a primarily focus on APAC, Europe and North America.
The LP has an appetite for first-time funds, co-investments and trade secondaries.
