A total of 17 White Lodging hotels were ranked among the best in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
The national publication recognized more than 37,000 hotels at 400 destinations, including nearly 20 of Merrillville-based White Lodging’s hotels.
Austin Marriott ranked 10th in Austin, the Brush Creek Ranch fourth in Wyoming, Canopy San Antonio eighth in San Antonio, Hotel Distil third in Louisville and fifth in Kentucky, the Indianapolis Marriott 11th in Indianapolis, the JW Marriott Austin seventh in Austin, the JW Marriott Charlotte second in Charlotte and fifth in North Carolina, the JW Marriott Indianapolis fourth in Indianapolis and fourth in Indiana, Le Meridien Denver 16th in Denver, the Louisville Marriott sixth in Louisville and eighth in Kentucky, the Milwaukee Marriott sixth in Milwaukee and 12th in Wisconsin, Moxy Louisville 11th in Louisville, Otis Hotel 16th in Austin, the Richmond Marriott 13th in Richmond, Teaneck Marriott seventh in New Jersey, the Union Club Hotel at Purdue 11th in Indiana and the Westin Milwaukee fifth in Milwaukee and 10th in Wisconsin.
The late Bruce White founded White Lodging in 1985, and it has since grown into a major national hospitality provider. The company operates 60 hotels, 50 restaurants and 10 rooftop bars across the country, as well as luxury ranches in western states.
White Lodging focuses largely on urban destinations, and ranked second in the 2021 J.D. Power Guest Satisfaction Benchmark for third-party management companies.
