Paytm, owned by One 97 Communications Limited (OCL), has partnered with leading global travel aggregators like Skyscanner, Google Flights, and Wego. In Q4’24, Paytm demonstrated a strong upward trajectory in market share among OTAs, with flight bookings witnessing a significant year-on-year increase of approximately 19%, outpacing the industry growth rate of around 3%. This impressive performance is further highlighted by a 15% year-on-year surge in international ticket bookings in April, solidifying Paytm Travel as a top choice for competitive prices and seamless travel services.

A noteworthy milestone for Paytm Travel is the recent NDC integration with Amadeus, featuring airlines on NDCx, along with the addition of other major carriers. This integration leverages artificial intelligence-powered capabilities to enhance the booking experience by offering more personalized travel options and packages directly from the airlines.

To provide even more choices for international travelers, Paytm Travel has added three new carriers: Cambodia Angkor Air, SalamAir, and FlyDubai. Additionally, the platform has expanded its service offerings by onboarding new bus operators, including Mettur, thereby offering customers a wider array of travel options. The introduction of a Free Cancellation service has also gained significant traction, particularly in trains and buses, followed by flights, giving customers greater flexibility and peace of mind.

Utilizing Google Flights for your travel planning offers numerous benefits. The platform provides a convenient one-stop solution for comparing flight options across multiple airlines and booking sites, saving time and effort by quickly identifying the most competitive fares and selecting the best itinerary. Equipped with powerful search capabilities, Google Flights enables users to explore a wide range of travel possibilities, including round-trip flights, one-way tickets, and multi-city itineraries, with flexible search options to meet specific requirements. Additionally, the intuitive calendar view helps users visualize price fluctuations across different dates, pinpointing the most cost-effective travel periods.

Google, the global leader in search engines, has become an integral part of our online experience, with “Google” now synonymous with internet searching. This digital giant is at the forefront of AI-driven travel innovations, offering tools like Google Flights, Google Maps, and Google Hotels to simplify itinerary planning and navigation.

Travel industry giants such as Expedia and Booking.com are also leveraging AI technology, investing heavily in recommendation engines and customer service platforms to enhance user experiences. These advancements demonstrate how AI is transforming the travel sector, making it easier and more personalized for travelers worldwide.
