The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) shares that a public meeting has been set to discuss air pollution concerns with the new Google data center being built in Fort Wayne.
The meeting, scheduled for Monday, July 1, at 6 p.m., will be held at Ivy Tech Community College – Coliseum Campus Building in Room #CC1640.
IDEM says the informal, public meeting will provide an opportunity for IDEM to describe the draft Hatchworks, LLC air permit and for community members to discuss air pollution concerns with IDEM staff.
IDEM says its public notice period will end on Monday, July 8. According to IDEM, all concerns discussed with IDEM before the end of the public notice period will be considered in the decision to issue or deny the Hatchworks, LLC air permit.
Following the end of the public notice period, IDEM will issue a Notice of Decision stating whether the permit has been issued or denied.
