DALLAS (KDAF) — Analysis of Google Trends search data reveals that online searches for ‘Verizon’ increased 4,900% worldwide and 733% in the United States over the last day after Beyoncé appeared in the telecommunications giant’s Super Bowl commercial.
A new finding from CasinoAlpha reveals that online searches for ‘Verizon’ have increased by 4,900% globally in the past 24 hours. This follows the company’s advertisement during Super Bowl LVIII.
The iconic commercial features pop superstar Beyoncé attempting to break the internet in different ways: She sets up a lemonade stand, releases a jazz saxophone album, invents a “Beyoncé-AI” robot, declares her candidacy for “Beyoncé of the United States,” launches her own Barbie doll, “Bar-Bey,” and even takes flight in a rocket. The star also announced her new country music album, ‘Renaissance (Act II)’ in the ad.
The commercial also stars American Actor and comedian Tony Hale, who is well known for Arrested Development and Veep.
Tudor Turiceanu, Chief Editor for CasinoAlpha, commented on the findings:
“Super Bowl commercials have a significant place in American football culture, being as iconic and memorable as the game and halftime performances. Therefore, the inclusion of the legendary Pop icon Beyoncé in an advertisement is truly thrilling for the American and global Super Bowl audiences. The surge in searches for Verizon following her appearance is undeniable proof of Beyoncé’s immense impact which has long transcended the music industry alone.”
