The Village of Milo is set to receive the most amount of money in the region. Located to the east of High River and just south of the Siksika First Nation, the combined $17.9 million will go towards the design and construction of a new regional Water Treatment Plant.
Two grants totalling $14.7 million will aid in the design and construct a regional waterline between High River and Nanton.
Funding of nearly $4.8 million will be used for a bridge replacement in the M.D. of Willow Creek, while the Town of Coaldale will spend its grant of over $4.5 million to build a new treated reservoir and pump station.
