Town Board meets monthly

The Stockton Town Board gathers for a business meeting once a month on the second Tuesday at 7 p.m, in the Stockton Town Hall. The Town Board had its beginnings in April 1821 and serves the people of Stockton. At the latest meeting, the annual photograph of the group was taken by Lauren Sharp. Shown are the board members in front of the 1854 Chautauqua County map. From the left is budget officer Allen Chase, highway superintendent Aaron Burnett, council member Olivia Lee, town supervisor David Wilson, council members Hannah Abram, John Sipos and John Beichner. Sipos was also appointed as the Town Historian. Abram is in charge of the Stockton web site. All meetings are open to the public.
