PORTALES, N.M. (KFDA) – Roosevelt County officials are seeking community input on an infrastructure plan at a public meeting Tuesday.

Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting on the 2026-2030 Roosevelt County Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (ICIP). Officials say the ICIP prioritizes the county’s capital projects for the next five years. Each project includes an implementation plan and estimated costs.

Tuesday’s public meeting will take place at noon in the Commission Room on the first floor of the Roosevelt County Courthouse, 109 W. First St.

If residents cannot attend, they can submit suggestions to Carla Weems at eweems@rooseveltcounty.com by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Officials say the existing plan will be reviewed with changes and updates following the public meeting. Those among the top five will be submitted as funding priorities for the coming year.

Roosevelt County Commissioners will consider the ICIP plan at their regular meeting July 2.
