‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ – Ospree Duty Free launches pioneering shopping service

Must read

INDIA. Ospree Duty Free yesterday (1 June) launched its ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ scheme, describing it as a “groundbreaking initiative” designed to maximise consumer convenience.

The recently rebranded travel retailer – formerly Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited, the joint venture between Adani Airport Holdings and Flemingo Travel Retail – said the facility is available for purchases over INR25,000 (US$300).

Ospree Duty Free is the first Indian travel retailer to offer the facility.

And another first for Ospree Duty Free as it becomes the first airport retailer to celebrate Ardbeg Day (31 May), in honour of the great LVMH-owned Islay single malt Scotch whisky brand. Look out for our separate report, coming soon {Photo: Ospree Duty Free}.

Shoppers can enjoy a three-month no-cost Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) scheme on a variety of fashion and electronics products. Ospree Duty Free has installed 13 Electronic Data Capture (EDC) machines across various stores equipped with the EMI facility.

Additionally, a WhatsApp group has been created for real-time support, while on-site assistance is available in-store. ✈
