Albania opens 3 mln euro water infrastructure tender

May 28 (SeeNews) – The state-owned corporation for water supply and sewerage in the Albanian capital Tirana, UKT, said on Tuesday it has opened tender procedures for a design study to improve the functioning, sustainability, and capacity of the water supply and sewerage systems in five main areas in the municipality.

The budget for the project has been estimated at 310 million leks ($3.3 million/3 million euro), UKT said in a tender notice.

Prospective bidders must be able to survey the area and summarize the results for the purposes of the design study within a three year period.

Offers must be submitted until July 1, UKT noted.
