HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – This year’s finalists have been announced for the annual Doodle for Google contest — and a Hawaii student is hoping for your vote.

Katherine Bursack’s drawing, titled “Fairytales,” was selected to represent Hawaii in the kindergarten through third grade category. She’s a student at Mililani Ike Elementary.

In this year’s theme students had to answer the following prompt: ‘My wish for the next 25 years is…”

Katherine wrote that she wishes “mermaids to be in the ocean and dragons in the sky. And magic is everywhere.”

Voting is open now through June 4.
