Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation Donates $2,500 to the Center for Wildlife

Newburyport, Mass. — The Newburyport Bank Charitable Foundation has donated $2,500 to the Center for Wildlife located in Cape Neddick, Maine. The funds will be instrumental for the design, permitting, and construction of state-of-the-art wildlife healing enclosures to replace the decades old and outdated existing enclosures on the former York Water District property, and completely restore their former and leased property back to a natural habitat. These enclosures are the last step that an injured or orphaned wild animal will need in order to return back to the wild.  

Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation supports heart health at York Hospital

YORK, Maine — The Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation has donated $25,000 toward the renovation of York Hospital’s Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. The independent nonprofit hospital, which has been in operation for 111 years, launched their “Leading with Heart” capital campaign last year. Construction is underway now.

The project is set to meet numerous objectives set out by the state of Maine’s Cardiovascular Health Strategic Plan, which aims to reduce coronary heart disease deaths among Mainers.

C&J Bus Lines donates $6,000 to Dover Triangle Club for interior renovations

DOVER — C&J Bus Lines, a leading provider of transportation services in New England, has generously donated over $6,000 to the Dover Triangle Club to support much-needed interior renovations. In collaboration with Raymond Talon, Wayne Stevens Painting Co., C&J helped revitalize the club’s space by providing a fresh coat of paint throughout the entire interior.

The Triangle Club, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, plays a vital role in the community by offering peer-driven recovery support groups and a welcoming space for individuals struggling with substance use. The club relies on community contributions to maintain its facilities and continue its mission of empowering those on the path to recovery.
