The moon in Pisces connects with Mars, Saturn, Uranus, and Mercury at various points throughout the day, creating excellent conditions for bringing new intentions to life. In the morning, straightforwardness will serve you best: The more honest you are (with others and yourself) about what you want, the more likely you are to get it. As the moon aligns with Saturn in the early afternoon, acts of service for the people in your life will bring you the most fulfillment. And in the evening, new people and spur-of-the-moment invitations could open doors — be spontaneous.

When your friends encourage you to be gentle with yourself, you often zone out. To you, the idea of self-care often seems like a meaningless platitude or even a cop-out — a way to avoid the challenges that make life interesting, or to wriggle out of your responsibilities to others. But today, try to remember that treating yourself with compassion doesn’t have to mean taking the easy road — if you do it right, it’ll give you the strength and resilience to do more in the long run.

When the people in your life aren’t giving you what you need, it’s easy to imagine that they’re intentionally falling short. And while there may be times when others can’t or won’t support you adequately, it’s more likely that your friends simply don’t realize what you’re looking for. Today, don’t assume that others know what you want from them, even if it seems perfectly obvious to you. The best thing you can do now is stop dropping hints, and express your needs directly.

You try not to take life — or yourself — too seriously. While some of your friends start to spiral every time they mess up, you prefer to laugh it off, learn from the situation, and move on. Lately, though, you might be uncharacteristically hard on yourself. You wish you could just get everything right on the first try. But remember all the interesting experiences you’d miss out on if you managed everything perfectly. Focus on living fully, not getting it all “right.”

You care deeply about the people in your life, but that doesn’t mean you’re willing to overlook all of their faults. You’d rather be honest, even when it’s tough, than offer empty praise and false reassurances. Today, just make sure that your expectations haven’t become unreasonable. Nobody gets through life without making some silly and embarrassing mistakes along the way, so try not to judge others harshly for their missteps. If you show generosity to others when they get it wrong, it’ll be easier to have compassion for yourself, too.

Lately, you’ve been trying to make the best of what you have. In general, this is a good thing. Your time, energy, and resources are limited, and you’d rather use them to enjoy yourself than chase pie-in-the-sky fantasies. You don’t need to have “everything.” Just remember that you shouldn’t have to settle for an existence that’s genuinely unsatisfying, either; don’t chide yourself for setting goals that will better your circumstances.Your challenge today is to find the right balance.

Sometimes, it’s hard to connect with the people in your life. You know that you love each other, but it can sometimes feel like your lives are moving in different directions, like you’re speaking different languages. Today, though, you might have a chance to reconnect. Your schedules could finally align, or a meaningful conversation could help bring you together again, or you could simply work up the courage to tell them that you miss them. It’s natural for relationships ebb and flow over time, and it isn’t too late to rebuild the closeness you want.

You aren’t the sort of person to base your self-worth entirely on your productivity, but most of the time, you have faith in your ability to take care of business. If a task needs to get done, you know that you can handle it efficiently. Lately, though, you might be questioning your abilities. You’re hyper-aware of all the gaps in your knowledge, the skills you never learned. Today, don’t let self-doubt hold you back. Keep going even if you don’t feel sure of yourself at first, you’ll hit your stride eventually.

While you aren’t a people pleaser, you still pay attention to the way your actions affect others. You care deeply about your friends and community, and you want to show up in ways that make their lives smoother and more pleasant. Today, make sure you’re not focused so much on the effect you’re having on other people that you lose sight of what you want. The more you act according to your values, even at the risk of others’ disapproval, the better you’ll sleep at night.

It’s important to nurture your long-term dreams — having something exciting to work toward can bring some shine to life’s duller days. But today, it might be helpful to disconnect, at least temporarily, from your ambition. You don’t need to achieve greatness in order to enjoy your time on earth; if you stopped working so hard, you’d still have plenty of reasons to get out of bed. You’ll have time to keep making progress, but at least for a moment, let yourself relax.

Some people never worry about planning for the future; they just throw themselves into new experiences and trust that it’ll all work out. You, on the other hand, tend to need at least some sort of strategy to feel confident. Today, though, thinking too far ahead is likely only to stress you out and make it harder to act. So for now, don’t worry so much about concocting a grand plan. Instead of trying to predict your future, take things one step at a time.

It can feel like your ideas don’t really count unless they’re completely original. If you’re not radically changing the world or being radically innovative, then what’s the point? But today, remember that there are other ways to contribute. Sometimes, supporting the people around you is enough. The little tasks that help keep the world turning might not feel glamorous, but they’re just as important as the big, exciting ones. Dramatic transformations can be thrilling, but building whole new worlds from scratch isn’t the only valuable use of your time.

It’s often necessary to take care of tasks that aren’t particularly fun or rewarding — while you might not be excited about them, you still recognize that they need to be done. Today, though, try to take a break from the stuff you don’t actually care about. You can’t swear them off forever, but you can pause to make sure that they’re not taking over your life. For now, focus on spending your time in ways that make your life brighter, or more satisfying.
