Here’s a look at promotions, hirings and other noteworthy business events in the Memphis area:

The Society of Entrepreneurs has announced four new members will join the organization. They are: William B. Dunavant III, CEO, president and chairman of the Board of Dunavant Enterprise; Mark H. George, chairman, IMC Companies; J. Allen Scoggin, president/CEO, Med Communications; and Bill Stegbauer, retired president, Southern Towing Company. They will be inducted at the 33rd Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet on April 26 at the FedEx Event Center at Shelby Farms.

OGCB Inc. announced James R. Prillaman as the new president of the engineering firm and Alan M. Sanders as the new vice president. Richard C. Bursi, who was president, was elevated to the company’s CEO. Prillaman is a mechanical engineer who has been with the firm since 1997, and Sanders is a mechanical engineer who has been with the firm since 1991. OGCB is a Memphis-based mechanical and electrical consulting engineering company that has been in business for 76 years. Its work projects have included Crosstown Concourse, University of Memphis Law School, Rhodes College Barret Library, FedExForum and the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library.

The Board of Directors of MyCityRides named Meg Goorley as the nonprofit’s new executive director. She succeeds Andy Nix, who served as executive director since the organization’s inception in 2018 and retired in May. Most recently, she served as director of development and community relations for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis and prior to that was executive director of Catholic Charities of North Louisiana in her hometown of Shreveport. Goorley is a tenured nonprofit mentor and was recognized for her leadership efforts by earning her Distinguished Leader certification from United Way’s Executive Leadership Academy.

Nancy McQuillen has joined Red Door Wealth Management, a Memphis-based financial firm, as an operations associate. She fields calls and assists with various client projects in addition to supporting firm operations by filing client statements and inputting investment reporting data.

Glankler Brown PLLC announced Danielle Rassoul has been named to the Board of Directors of the Memphis Bar Association. She concentrates her practice in employment law, civil rights and commercial law, advising employers within both small and large companies on issues related to ADA, Title VII, FMLA, the Tennessee Human Rights Act, the Tennessee Disabilities Act, and Section 1983 claims. She has federaland state appellate experience, arguing before the Sixth Circuit for the first time in 2023.

Harris Shelton attorney Jacob Swatley has been selected for the 2025 Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law Program. Now in its 22nd year, Leadership Law is designed to equip Tennessee lawyers with the vision, knowledge and skills necessary to serve as leaders in their profession and local communities.
