Rams at Eagles: Predictions, picks, odds for NFL divisional round game

The Los Angeles Rams aren’t your typical No. 4 seed.

After a dominating victory over the 14-3 Minnesota Vikings in the wild card round, the Rams are looking to win their second Super Bowl in four years. And keep in mind, the Rams were the NFC’s No. 4 seed when they won it all in 2022 as well.

Unfortunately for Los Angeles, this weekend they’ll be taking on a team that has been to a Super Bowl even more recently than them, the Philadelphia Eagles. The difference is Philadelphia lost when given the opportunity to play for the Lombardi Trophy. The Eagles are hungry, eager to prove they don’t need Nick Foles to bring a title to the City of Brotherly Love. But they certainly could use some of his magic right now.

Here are our experts’ predictions for the Divisional Round showdown.

Chiefs vs. Texans | Lions vs. Commanders | Eagles vs. Rams | Bills vs. Ravens

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 26, Rams 19

The Rams outclassed the Vikings, as L.A. appears to be peaking at exactly the right time. Coach Sean McVay has proven, once again, he’s one of the game’s best tacticians. Yet, the Eagles have talent all across the board, and when Saquon Barkley is playing at such an elite level, and when Jalen Hurts is calculated about the shots he takes, Philadelphia becomes a very difficult out.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 28, Rams 23

The Rams got an emotional wild-card win in Glendale, Ariz. They will play inspired, but the Eagles are the better football team. Eagles star RB Saquon Barkley registered a career-high 255 yards when these two teams met in Week 12. Los Angeles will gameplan for Barkley, but he’ll still have a big game.

Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 24, Rams 23

Los Angeles had one of the best performances of the wild card weekend. The Rams are able to keep up with Philadelphia but the Eagles offense puts up an impressive drive at the end to get to the NFC title game.
