REDDING, Calif. — The Redding Public Market is making significant strides in its construction, according to K2 Developments. Recent progress includes finalizing casework, shop drawings, and building walls, counters, and cabinets.
Erin Ross, the public market manager, said, “Most of the general infrastructure is in, which was quite a complex process. These things take time, so we’re very excited to start pushing into the finished work.”
Currently, efforts are focused on developing the future patio of the market. The market will feature a supermarket, food options, and some retail. The city’s goal is to offer residents a varied culinary experience with numerous options for families to enjoy.
The public market is projected to be completed later this year. The exact date has not yet been announced.
