JACKSON, Wyo. — Eagle-eyed Wyoming viewers watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 9, might have seen a familiar sight amid commercials for internationally known products and companies.
Jackson-based BrushBuck Wildlife Tours represented Wyoming in Google’s “50 States, 50 Stories” campaign, which profiles small businesses using the tech company’s products. Fifty separate commercials aired depending on where a viewer was located.
Buckrail spoke with BrushBuck owner Amber Peters about how it felt to be featured on such a prominent stage.
“It feels surreal, honestly,” Peters said. “To think that our little tiny company that the three of us started is in a Super Bowl commercial, it feels like you’re at the top, and it’s hard-won. We’ve been in business since 2006/2007, so it’s really nice to have the limelight put on us like that.”
BrushBuck was highlighted alongside its use of software to keep track of animal sightings.
