Uncrowned has Claressa Shields vs. Danielle Perkins live results, round-by-round updates, highlights, ring walks and start time for the Shields vs. Perkins fight card on Sunday night at the Dort Financial Center in Flint, Michigan. Shields (15-0, 3 KOs), Uncrowned’s No. 1 pound-for-pound women’s boxer in the world, is a five-division champion and former two-division undisputed champion, having held the undisputed super welterweight crown in 2021 and the undisputed middleweight title twice between 2019 and 2024. Shields won the WBC heavyweight title with a second-round knockout of Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse this past July.
Perkins (5-0, 2 KOs) has never been scheduled for more than eight rounds and comes into the bout as far less experienced than her championship opponent. Perkins boxed on the undercard of Shields’ fight with Lepage-Joanisse, winning a wide unanimous decision over Christianne Fahey.
Heavyweight prospects Brandon Moore (16-1, 10 KOs) and Skylar Lacy (8-0-2, 6 KOs) clash on the undercard in a bout scheduled for 10 rounds. Moore recently teamed up with Dmitry Salita’s Salita Promotions, which is promoting Sunday’s card and has a long-standing relationship with Shields.
Shields vs. Perkins begins at 7:30 p.m. ET on DAZN, with main event ring walks expected at around 11:00 p.m. ET.

Brandon Moore vs. Skylar Lacy – Round 5
Moore is building more and more success as Lacy becomes more fatigued and forced to hold. Moore’s right hand has found a home on Lacy’s chin in the 4th and 5th rounds, it hasn’t put a major dent in Lacy yet though.

Lacy loses another point for holding!
Skylar Lacy is very tired and continues to hold onto Moore as they are up close. Lacy loses a second point in the fifth. If he continues, the referee may choose to disqualify Lacy.
Both men lose a point in the 4th!
Brandon Moore lost a point in round 4 for holding, which seems unfair as Skylar Lacy has done more of the holding than Moore, but I guess the referee has had enough.
I spoke too soon — just seconds later, the referee takes a point away from Lacy as well for holding.
Brandon Moore vs. Skylar Lacy – Round 3
A counter right hand from Moore in the second minute of the third is the best connect from either man so far in this fight.
In a wild moment, the cameraman was knocked off his position on the ring ropes as Moore and Lacy clinched on the ropes for what feels like the 20th time — they were warned not to do it again or the one who initiated the holding would lose a point.
Moore goes on the attack in the final minute, trying that right hand on the taller Lacy. It’s not pretty, but the injection of pace is effective from Moore.

Brandon Moore vs. Skylar Lacy – Round 2
Moore starts out round 2 doing what both men should’ve tried in the opener — establishing the jab.
Jabs from Moore land on the body and head of Lacy. These aren’t damaging shots, but they are scoring punches and allowing Moore to break the distance on the taller Lacy.
Moore and Lacy get into a clinch and refuse to let go. The second half of this round has become scrappy, which is to the annoyance of the sold-out arena that start to boo. The fans want to see some action from boxing’s glamour division.

Brandon Moore vs. Skylar Lacy – Round 1
Both men are looking for the right hand early in this contest. Lacy is having more success in landing it upstairs. Moore, who is slightly shorter, is working the body nicely and backing Lacy up along the ropes.
Lacy’s left-hand stays by his side for the entirety of the round — a very dangerous tactic especially at heavyweight. Battle of the jabs is pretty even thus far.

Hicks comes out for round 7 with a different approach from the first 6. He is being aggressive early in the seventh, looking to land power shots, and working the body.
Right hand from Hicks BUCKLES THE KNEES. Papillion is in a world of trouble early in the 7th. Hicks continues his assault with more right hands as Papillion seeks safety on the ropes. Hicks is going to work, he throws a flurry. Papillion’s corner is up on the ring apron, signalling the referee to stop this fight in the 7th. This one is OVER!

Joseph Hicks Jr. vs. Keon Papillion – Round 6
Hicks has outlanded Papillion 30-13 in the jab battle through the first five rounds. Although, he has made more of an effort to throw power punches in the sixth.
A rare left hook from Hicks knocked the sweat off Papillion’s face at the end of the first minute. Hicks has thrown mostly straight punches until now.
Hicks ROCKS Papillion in the final few seconds of the sixth with another left hook. Papillion was backed up on the ropes and Hicks followed through with a right hand. Another backhand lands on the bell.

Hicks is making Papillion miss easily in the fifth but isn’t making him pay after. He is happy just to stay out of trouble and get back to distance.
More good jabs from Hicks throughout the fifth. He landed a hard overhand right on Papillion in the final minute. Right hand to the body connects for Hicks in an exchange, Papillion counters with a right hand upstairs, which skimmed Hicks.

Joseph Hicks Jr. vs. Keon Papillion – Round 4
This isn’t going to win any Fight of the Year awards…but Hicks has dominated long spells off it with precise, disciplined backfoot boxing. Hicks is controlling the distance with a long jab, throwing in the odd right hand — a little bit like Richardson Hitchins.
Papillion landed a nice counter-left hook in the first half of the third, but it may have been his only significant punch in the round. Hicks had his best moment with a four-punch combo that featured left hooks on the head and body.

Hicks controlled the action at long range in the second. He tries some sharp right hands, sometimes after a fast jab.
More bodywork from Hicks, the left hook downstairs connected. The pair clash heads in the final minute, no cuts but Papillion felt some impact there momentarily.
Quiet round, which suits Hicks well.

Hicks starts out the contest boxing on the backfoot while it’s Papillion that attempts to close the gap and force the pace.
Hicks pawing out his long jab, has a significant height and reach advantage over Papillion.
Right hand to the body from Hicks at range; Papillion was open for it as he had his guard up high.
Nice right-hand upstairs from Hicks to close out the opener. Hicks turned Papillion as Papillion jumped into range and ate a power punch in the process.

Pagan beats Ron via UD
Joshua James Pagan remains undefeated with a unanimous decision win (79-73, 78-74, 78-74) over Ronal Ron in a competitive eight-round lightweight contest.
Joshua Pagan vs. Ronal Ron – Round 8
Good work from Ron up close as we enter the second minute of the eighth. Pagan is backed up on the rope and looks uncomfortable. Ron’s punches are overwhelming Pagan even though none of them are particularly damaging.
Pagan started the fight trading with Ron up close, he figured out that he should box him at long range from around round 3. But at the end of the sixth, Ron rocked Pagan and carried that success on for a strong finish.
A lot to learn for Pagan from this fight.

Joshua Pagan vs. Ronal Ron – Round 7
Best round of the fight for Ronal Ron!
He capitalized off the success he had at the end of the sixth and forced the action early in the seventh, throwing combinations on Pagan. Ron connected with a straight right hand on Ron in the first 30 seconds.
The pair trade left hooks up close, but it’s Ron who has the heavier hands and got the better of that exchange.
Pagan goes back to his boxing and paws out his jab. Ron forcing him to move.
The seventh round has been Ron’s strongest of the fight so far.

Joshua Pagan vs. Ronal Ron – Round 6
Pagan fires off a fast combination upstairs, Ron attempts a left hook to the body in between it. An uppercut from Pagan breaks the guard as Pagan is forced back on the ring ropes.
Pagan finding more success with the left hook as he has done in previous rounds. He has settled into the contest after reverting back to long range boxing.
But a strong right hand connects for Ron in the final few seconds of the sixth, which reopens a cut over Pagan’s left eye. Pagan certainly felt the force of that one. Rare success for Ron.

Ron has Pagan up on the ropes, but Pagan almost chooses to stay there and counter Ron on the inside. Left hook gets through for Pagan, and a short clipping right uppercut.
Back to long range goes Pagan, where he fires off fast jabs on Ron, which are partially blocked.
