Report of gunshots on Meadow Lake Boulevard. May have been trash bins being emptied. An unresponsive male drove into an embankment on Highway 2 near O’Brien’s Liquor and Wine. There was a report of people taking guns and shovels from vehicle after the crash, but that wasn’t the case.

Jan. 14

Report of possible infant abuse. Report of females racing carts in Super 1 parking lot. Report of 15-year-old shot in chest with nail gun, but he was alive. Happened on Airport Road. A male jumped out of his girlfriend’s car while it was going down the road and hit a barbed wire fence. He had cuts on his arm and head.

A female with special needs was up in a tree and parents were worried she might get hurt. She eventually came down.

Plates from a stolen ATV were recovered, perp may have been a Constitutionalist who was allegedly threatening to shoot people.

Jan. 17

A woman said she used to be a friend with a man, but he was no longer welcome and she wanted a restraining order.

All was quiet.

A person asked about a restraining order for someone who was stealing from them.

Jan. 20

A driver almost hit a kid crossing Talbott Road; appeared to be on cell phone.

A woman reported a scam where caller claimed that loan payments hadn’t been made. The area code was 855, which is common for scams.

Jan. 22

Car rolled over on Meadow Lake Boulevard. Report of a family member stealing money electronically from another family member.

Jan. 23

Reckless driver on Highway 2 weaving in and out of traffic. Driver hit garbage cans in Pizza Hut parking lot and took off. Report of a male that didn’t come immediately home after school. He was found.

Jan. 24

Columbia Falls Police commenced a search for Maddison Miller, a local women with cognitive delays. She was found OK. A man at a business was swearing and causing a disturbance. He left on his own accord.

Jan. 25

A caller reported that a man had a stolen vehicle. A caller claimed there were 14 Venezuelans selling meth in Columbia Falls and wanted to talk to person that addressed rumors in town.

Jan. 26

Report of one employee punching another employee in the face.
