In the Gmail app for Android, whenever you open an email about an event, such as a movie, it shows you an event summary card right below the subject. It gives you all the important details about the event mentioned in the email, saving you from the hassle of reading the whole email, and a button to see the event in Google Calendar. Well, Google has just released a new version of it.

Google has announced that it has started rolling out a redesigned event summary card to the Gmail app for Android and iOS. The new one shows you all the details in a more streamlined manner. Along with it, the redesigned card brings three buttons that change dynamically depending on the content of the email. In the screenshot of the new card shared by Google, it gives you Invite others, View ticket, and Directions buttons. It also shows that the event is on your Google Calendar.

Google says that the rollout is complete to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains, and it is currently rolling out to Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts. So, you should see it on your Android phone soon.
