Rider ranked for online programs by U.S. News & World Report

Rider University was once again recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a leader in online education. Included in the organization’s 2025 Best Online Programs rankings, Rider notably ranked at No. 110 for best online master’s programs in business, moving up 10 spots from last year

 

Additionally, the University was recognized for its online bachelor’s programsonline MBA program, online master’s in education programs and online master’s in nursing program.

 

“Online programs are a vital part of our academic repertoire,” says Dr. DonnaJean Fredeen, Rider’s provost and senior vice president for Academic and Student Affairs. “We are proud to offer a number of programs completely online, allowing students to earn their degrees in a flexible manner to fit their needs and reach their goals.”

 

For the 2025 Best Online Programs rankings, U.S. News assessed 1,790 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and ranked more than 1,700 of them. Programs were ranked based on faculty credentials and training, services and technology available to students, student engagement, and expert opinions on the academic quality of programs, among other factors.

 

Rider is regularly recognized for its high-quality academics. Last year, the University was ranked as one of the best colleges by U.S. News and The Princeton Review.
