UNCW Climbs in 2025 U.S. News Best Online Programs Rankings

UNCW has climbed in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report “Best Online Programs” rankings, demonstrating its commitment to academic accessibility and student success.

The university is ranked #12 in the nation for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs, up from #16 in 2024. The online MBA program is ranked #172, online MBA for Veterans #102, and online master’s in education #199. The online Graduate Nursing Program is newly ranked #65 nationally.

Volety. “These rankings recognize the university’s efforts to provide an exceptional education for all students, prioritizing flexibility and providing valuable resources.”

UNCW’s online MBA program allows students to develop analytical and quantitative skills needed for effective business decision making and organizational management.

The MSN Nurse Educator program is designed to prepare experienced nurses to become qualified nurse educators by learning social, psychological, cultural and ethical trends that shape healthcare systems.

The online MBA and Nurse Educator programs can both be completed in as few as 12 months.

The Watson College of Education’s online master’s in education offers multiple specialization options for teachers and administrators. Each program allows educators to improve and expand their knowledge in each field through flexible formats designed with working professionals in mind.
