Novak Djokovic vs Carlos Alcaraz live updates: Australian Open 2025 quarter-final latest score

Must read

Let’s not sugarcoat it. Today has not gone well for the U.S. contingent that has been involved in it.

There was a straight sets exit for Coco Gauff, with the third seed losing her quarterfinal to Paula Badosa 7-5, 6-4.

Then in the men’s championship, second seed Alexander Zverev proved too strong for Tommy Paul (12) — the German coming out on top in four: 7-6(1), 7-6(0), 2-6, 6-1.

The good news is that Ben Shelton still has a great chance of advancing from his quarterfinal, when he takes on the unseeded Lorenzo Sonego tomorrow.

Madison Keys and Emma Navarro are also still alive in the women’s draw with last-eight matches, against Elkina Svitolina and Iga Swiatek.

Matthew Futterman has all the details from Gauff’s exit below.
