As someone who spends an absurd amount of time shopping for furniture and decor online, it’s a rarity that I stumble upon a brand previously unknown to me, especially one that’s been around for a little while. Between writing about home decor and furnishing my new house, I always have my eyes and ears open for the latest pieces and brands that interior designers are loving.

Recently, I came across a furniture brand called Chita that was new to me, but after speaking with a few designers, I quickly learned that Chita has been on the trendy design insider scene for quite some time. So, of course, I had to take a closer look.

“Chita offers a stylish range of seating options that combine modern design with timeless comfort — perfect for any home at a price that feels just right,” says interior designer Natalie Kraiem. I perused the Chita website and soon discovered how right she is. From the super plush, sleek accent chairs to the mid-century modern-inspired bed frames, every piece is better than the next. I would have to own a 5,000-square-foot house to accommodate all of the Chita pieces I want.

All of Chita’s products are designed in-house, blending contemporary trends with timeless styles to make pieces that are both comfortable and visually beautiful. Chita uses solid wood for all of its frames, which lasts infinitely longer than MDF or other lesser-quality materials. Each piece is upholstered with OEKO-TEX certified fabric or leather, which means they’re free from all different types of harmful chemicals.

Chita’s construction is doubly more impressive when you consider the price point. Chita is surprisingly inexpensive compared with other more well-known home decor stores. Accent chairs start at under $500, but you wouldn’t necessarily know it. “I like this brand because it’s super affordable and yet looks really elevated,” says interior designer Anaïs Chaumien. “It’s a great way to add a touch of elegance to your space without breaking the bank.”

I love how many different seating options Chita carries, and I also really appreciate the fact that the brand caters to spaces large, small, and everything in between. Chita also makes outdoor furniture, which is just as cute as all of the brand’s indoor pieces.

Currently, I am waiting for my first Chita piece, the Wren Modern Swivel Accent Chair, to arrive. Honestly I found it difficult to choose, but I am so excited thinking about how I’ll style it in my space.

Keep reading to explore some more of my favorite Chita pieces as well as Kraiem and Chaumien’s go-to picks.
