NFL playoff schedule: AFC, NFC wild-card round seeding, TV times, channels

Must read

After four months of regular-season action and three division titles decided over the weekend, the NFL playoff picture is complete.

Twelve teams locked up their postseason berths before Week 18, and the two remaining teams — the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Denver Broncos — secured their playoff spots with victories Sunday, while the Bucs also clinched the NFC South. The Baltimore Ravens (AFC North) claimed their division crown this weekend, too.

The NFC’s top seed came down to a “Sunday Night Football” showdown between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, with the Lions claiming not only the NFC North, but also the spoils of the No. 1 seed in their conference, meaning home-field advantage in the playoffs and a first-round bye.

The Vikings’ loss means they take the No. 5 seed in the NFC and will open their postseason on the road against the Los Angeles Rams.

Here’s a look at the complete playoff seeding and wild-card round schedule:

No. 1 Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) — first-round bye
