STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – A 23-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon at the Meyers Lake Plaza and Stark County Sheriff’s deputies said the suspect remains on the loose.
The shooting happened around 3 p.m. in the shopping plaza located in the 1500 block of Whipple Ave. NW in Canton Township.
EMS transported the victim to Aultman Hospital and deputies said he has non-life-threatening injuries. His name has not been released.
The shooter is believed to have fled the area in a light blue or silver SUV.
