From festive drinks to quality time with loved ones, the festive season is filled with joy and celebration. However, others find this time of year overwhelming and stressful.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, celebrity psychic and astrologer Inbaal Honigman revealed which zodiac signs are set to thrive during the Christmas period – and which ones may face tough challenges.
In collaboration with psychic chat provider Psychic World, Inbaal shared that seven star signs will breeze through the festivities, feeling a combination of confidence, sociability, organization, and adventure.
On the other hand, five zodiac signs are likely to struggle, experiencing feelings of secrecy, reclusiveness, and difficulty getting into the party spirit.
Inbaal says that while one star sign sees Christmas as like “a second birthday to them”, another “finds large gatherings of strangers to be jarring”.

Star signs that will thrive over Christmas
Aries – Outdoorsy
March 21 to April 19
Enthusiastic and passionate, Aries are ready to jump into their party gear and out the door immediately. The tough festive schedule of a party a day does not phase those born under the sign of the Ram. Aries don’t get tired of celebrations and don’t mind meeting new people, in fact, they love it. They won’t stay at any party for very long, because they’ve got to bounce to the next one, but while they’re there, they’ll lift the spirits of all who meet them.
Gemini – Party Animal
May 21 to June 21
The original party animal waits for the festive season all year long. Extended periods of excitement, like weeks of outdoor festivals around June, or going abroad in August, are when Gemini feels most at home.
Those born under the sign of the Twins are happiest when surrounded by others, preferably with some noise and a glass of something fizzy and fruity. Christmastime with its excessive vibe is right up the Gemini’s alley.
Leo – Confident
July 23 to August 22
There’s so much about the holiday season that aligns with the Leo personality that it’s like a second birthday to them. Generous, dramatic, sunny, and big-hearted, Leos struggle when the environment or situation is too quiet and love it when things are hectic. Those born under the sign of the Lion enjoy any type of party and can match the vibe of every event.
Virgo – Sociable
August 23 to September 22
Your everyday routine is so ingrained in your life, that the festive season is just another season to you. Even surrounded by party snacks and champagne, you tend to stick to the foods and drinks you consume on normal days. The chatter around you during all the parties is a joy, as you love communicating, but it doesn’t distract you from your regular habits and bedtimes. Libra – Graceful

The balanced nature of your personality means that you enjoy every season, each in its way. Whereas large, crowded gatherings with a questionable punchbowl and no dress code, might not be your thing, you do love more graceful, elegant gatherings. Having people around your house, or meeting a select group of friends at a hotel lobby with a string quartet playing, is a dream to you. The holiday season is a delight as you love glitter, giggles, and the giving and receiving of gifts.

Sagittarius – Adventurous
November 22 to December 21
The festive season is Sagittarius’ favourite season because they like to party, and because their birthday falls within the same month. Sagittarians love meeting people from all walks of life and getting chaotic with them. Not a zodiac to turn down an invitation, those born under the sign of the Archer will leave the house with a spare pair of socks and a bottle of perfume, happy to stay out for a full 24 hours. They’re sad when the season is over, and dislike the humdrum of everyday life.
Capricorn – Organised
December 22 to January 19
Capricorns get things done. If there are five party invitations a week, they’ll do it. If they need to buy a gift, hire a tux, book a lift-share, and tidy up behind them, they’ll do it, and they’ll be fabulous at it. They’re not big party animals, however Capricorns enjoy Christmas and don’t struggle because they’re ever prepared.

Taurus – Solitary

Bookish and quiet, Taurus reserves the right to decide who they’ll party with, where, and when. Their sharp wit and warm social skills are saved for their inner circle of trust, so they find large gatherings of strangers to be jarring. If their boss or their parents expect them to show up every time there’s a party, they’ll just go missing and switch their phones off. A peaceful gathering at home, with fine wine and gorgeous canapes is much more their vibe.
Cancer – Indoorsy

Cancerians love being surrounded by people. Even every day. The socialising aspect of the festive season is no hardship for them. They just don’t love being too far away from their kitchen. Those born under the sign of the crab are home-loving and family-minded. They’ll gladly host their 19 cousins plus kids, and cater to everyone, just don’t ask them to put a pair of heels on. Christmas is a big hit in the Cancer household, but they’d rather stay inside when the weather outside is frightful.
Scorpio – Secretive

One of Scorpio’s favourite things about being a grown-up is that nobody knows where you are unless you tell them. If you’ve got to be at a party every single night, too many people can track your moves! Their need for privacy is greater than their need for drinking eggnog and eating Christmas-tree-shaped snacks. They’ll turn up to your party but you won’t know when, and you can’t even guess when they’ll depart.
Aquarius – Independent
January 20 to February 18
Aquarians march to the beat of their own drum. When they’re in the mood for a party, they’ll do it, regardless of season or reason. If they’re not in the mood, no amount of reasoning can convince them to go. As those invitations come streaming in, Aquarius may as well file them straight in the bin. The getting ready, making friends with people they don’t know, and more than everything, the culture of excess can be too much for humanitarian, independent Aquarius.
Pisces – Romantic
February 19 to March 20
Pisces appreciate catching up with their friends, but they need to feel safe and secure while they do it. One-on-one meetings, where they can order their favourite drinks and snacks, are where they feel like they can be themselves. Pisceans love the festive season, but their personal comfort comes first, and their social lives – second.
