DUBLIN, Ohio — A walk around Bridge Park would take you around some diners, coffee shops, an ice-skating ring and a few Christmas trees on Christmas Eve.
Some people were going up and down the streets just walking with their strollers, others were working and there was a man who got his first manicure.
One person, Ethan Knutsen, who was last minute shopping.
“I just got five $100 gift cards for the family to come in and get manicure, pedicures, whatever they feel so yeah,” Knutsen said.
Many were out and about just enjoying time with family visiting from out of town.
Posing in front of one of the Christmas trees, a family of around 11 people smiled as they walked down the street.
“Eat, we’re eating,” Maria Araujo said. “Yeah so that the reason, I mean, we came here just to chill and spend time with the family.”
In addition to all the shopping and eating, an ice rink kept people busy as well.
One woman said she was happy sliding on ice instead of shopping and spending money.
“This is really fun, ain’t no money spent but the ice skating, shopping is already done, but I feel pretty good, though,” Domonique Roberts said.
But not everyone is in the shopping mood this year. There’s a couple who decided to do something different this year, instead of shopping.
“We have changed our priorities this year,” Maria Evans said. “Instead of collecting more things we’re going to create more memories. so, we are going to Florida in April.”
