Last-minute shopping continues in the Hub City – WBBJ TV

JACKSON, Tenn. — If you’re noticing an influx in traffic across the Hub City, those are last minute shoppers grabbing the perfect items for their favorite loved ones.

One shopper is enjoying the opportunity to have close proximity to local shopping centers. She leaves shoppers with a little token.

“Nowadays we have so much already its hard to shop for anyone. So just kind of keep them in mind what they like, what they don’t like. And maybe what you like and what you want to see them have,” said Pam Crossno, shopper.

Most shoppers today have all agreed that traffic has been the worse part of finding last minute gifts.

“It’s the traffic, and I think the traffic today is beyond,” said Valerie Philips, shopper.

For those that are looking for gifts for their parents, this task may be harder because what do you get someone that already has everything?

“I would say the hardest person to shop for probably would be my mom because if you have me as a son, you have everything you need. So why would I continue to just overload you, you have the best so she’s pretty hard to shop for. Plus, she has really picky taste so I would say my mom,” said Tre Martin, shopper.

For one young shopper, splitting their time between each parent to shop has been hard.

“Well I have to have my other parent take me to get my moms gift and my mom to take me get my dads gift. So, it’s pretty easy, but a little complicated since I can’t drive,” said Grace Copley, shopper.

Another shopper leaves a reminder for those that are still shopping.

“I just hope people are being nice to retail workers because they are at the receiving end, so be kind to people,” said Martin.

A reminder for those that may need to go out tomorrow will be the last day to grab those items.
