BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Chris Kemmerer returned to Christkindlmarkt for its final weekend from Saratoga Springs, New York, what has become a tradition in the city he used to live in.

“We did a little bit of holiday shopping, some stocking stuffers.  It worked out okay. Everybody gets a little something,” said Kemmerer.

His son Declan came along too. He said the artwork is his favorite part.

“Probably all the cool artwork. There’s a lot and I think a lot of talented people are here. I think that’s cool,” said Declan.

The Sipple’s stopped by for the first time.

“My son had a hockey game across the street and we’re like we’ll all go check it out,” said Matt Sipple.

“It’s been very busy and adventurous. We’re doing a lot of shopping, we kind of waited to the last-minute to get our shopping done,” said Amy Sipple.

It is the last weekend for the event that started a week earlier this year.

“It’s definitely going to be a bonus for us to be here the extra week,” said Ryan Oberdick.

Oberdick’s stand Whisker Biscuits has returned year after year, selling handcrafted dog treats of all kinds.

“It’s awesome, we love the event. The event’s run really well. Our customer-base is amazing here because we’ve been here for so many years,” said Oberdick.

Theresa Young at the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living’s stand Treats2Love said they have sold recipes in jars of all kinds.

“It’s great, it makes us happy. We use the money to go back into our program it helps adults with disabilities,” said Oberdick.
