The first half of the Atlanta Falcons and Las Vegas Raiders has gone as advertised, as the Falcons have paced their way to a 9-3 lead at the break. Kirk Cousins ended his touchdown streak at five games, throwing a 30-yard touchdown pass to Drake London to give the Falcons an early 7-0 lead.
Atlanta hasn’t gotten much from its offense, despite having 136 yards of offense in the first half. Cousins has been efficient, completing 7 of 9 passes for 84 yards and a touchdown (142.6 rating), while Bijan Robinson has 10 carries for 58 yards, but the Falcons have just nine points.
Atlanta got a safety after Alexander Mattison was tackled in the end zone, which extended the lead to 9-3. The Raiders have a 52-yard field goal from Daniel Carlson as their lone score of the first half.
Desmond Ridder, making the start at quarterback for the Raiders, is just 7 of 11 for 59 yards. The Raiders have just 80 yards of offense. Brock Bowers became the first rookie tight end to have 90 catches in a season as he has three catches in the first half, setting the mark with a 22-yard reception in the final minute of the half.
