Whether it’s a White Elephant occasion or a Christmas gathering, trying to find a fun gift can be hard.

While there are several stores you can shop from this holiday season for presents, be sure to swing by these 10 shops to support local businesses.

Hybrid Records

417 Peoples St.

From CDs, cassette tapes, VHS tapes and vinyl records, Hybrid Records has it all for music lovers.

The music shop also sells T-shirts, accessories and record player equipment.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Lavender + Lee

4411 S. Alameda St.

How many one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces do you think people have?

Find something unique and special at Lavender + Lee for that perfect necklace, ring, bracelet or earrings.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Hours are subject to change.

Planted cctx

We all know a plant person, and Planted cctx has the perfect gifts for that horticulturist.

Not only are plants for sale, but the nursery also offers accessories, planters and plant food.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Produce Goods Micro Bodega

415 Peoples St.

While Produce Goods has transformed more into a “micro bodega” recently, the shop still sells accessories, clothes and smoke products.

A nice Produce hat paired with some pizza-flavored chips will make any gift receiver happy.

Hours: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Sew Bonita

4719 S. Alameda St.

Be careful walking into Sew Bonita, as you will most likely leave the local business with a purchase just for yourself also.

The shop sells stickers, clothing, stationery gifts and unique gifts, including concha keychains, avocado coin bags and Corpus Christi-themed items.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Suicidal Butterfly

4455 S. Padre Island Drive

If you’re looking for a gift that is specialized for someone on the gothic side, Suicidal Butterfly is the place to go.

The boutique sells shoes, clothes, bags, jewelry and other accessories for those wanting something more alternative.

Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Tronix Repair & Games

4738 S. Padre Island Drive

Originally located in the Flour Bluff area, Tronix Repair & Games relocated off South Padre Island Drive and Everhart Road at the beginning of 2024.

It’s the perfect place to find new and retro video games, Funko Pop! figurines, trading cards and video game consoles.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

VNP Gallery

Is your gift receiver into thrifted clothes?

VNP Gallery is the go-to spot for vintage T-shirts, sweaters and shoes.

Hours: Noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday; and noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Wild Wolf Halloween Store

Halloween is celebrated every day at Wild Wolf on South Staples Street.

Products for sale include posters, bags, blankets and even wrapping paper.

20/20 Vintage

Sometimes gifting someone clothes or accessories may be hard, as you’re not sure what their style may be.

In that case, consider purchasing a gift card to 20/20 Vintage in downtown Corpus Christi, where the gift receiver can find something they will truly enjoy.
