Fight inside West Side business ends in deadly shooting, Chicago police say

A fight inside a West Side business turned deadly Saturday afternoon after a man was shot multiple times, police said.

What we know

Chicago police were called just after 3 p.m. to the 200 block of N. Pulaski for shots fired inside a business.

A 30-year-old man was involved in a fight with an offender, which turned physical. The offender then pulled a gun and shot the man several times, police said.

The man was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he died from his injuries, authorities said. The investigation is ongoing.

What we don’t know

The identity of the man who died in the shooting has not yet been released by the Cook County Medical Examiner.

Chicago police have not shared additional details about the suspect or what led to the shooting.
