GARDNER, Kan. (KCTV) – Gardner voters will soon vote on whether to renew a sales tax that funds the city’s Pavement Management Program.
In February, the half-cent Infrastructure Special Sales Tax will be up for another public vote, a decade after it was first renewed in 2015.
The Pavement Management Program covers local and collector streets, sidewalks, trails, curbs, gutters and ADA enhancements that Gardner officials said impacts nearly 100 percent of the city’s roadways, excluding those in new developments.
Voters will have their opportunity to renew the sales tax on the ballot, which will be mailed to registered voters starting Jan. 22, 2025. The election will be held Feb. 11.
