Photo gallery: A Christmas shopping spree for students

Must read

The Christmas spirit is alive in well, thanks in large part to the Jordan Education Foundation, which treated more than 700 students from the Jordan School district to an early Christmas shopping spree Saturday.

As the lucky students arrived, they were greeted by Santa Claus spreading his holiday cheer along with South Jordan city leaders, firefighters and police officers.

Each student was able to purchase $150 worth of gifts from the local Walmart store, thanks in large part to donations from the community and local businesses.

Deseret News photojournalist Isaac Hale shadowed the students, documenting their fun.
