KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Google search data pulled from the 2024 NFL season has revealed that Taylor Swift NFL jerseys are some of the most in-demand in the league.

According to Google search data, FlashPicks – a sports betting site – has announced through a recent study that Taylor Swift NFL jerseys are more in demand than all but seven active players this season.

The data revealed that more than 85,890 Google searches have been executed for her NFL jersey since the season started in September, which makes her jersey the eighth most popular in the nation – higher than 1,689 active NFL players.

The study also found there has been a 176% increase in NFL-related searches for Swift since the start of the season. This includes terms such as “Taylor Swift Chiefs” and Taylor Swift NFL” with an average of 109,320 searches each month.

“There has been a lot of media attention of Taylor Swift attending Kansas City Chiefs matches this season, so it’s no surprise that her fans are looking to purchase NFL jerseys with her name on,” said Callum Broxton, FlashPick’s Head of Operations. “Luckily for Travis Kelce, he is still more popular than Swift when it comes to NFL memorabilia, but others aren’t so lucky. The Chiefs are sure to cash in on the extra commerciality of having Swift dating one of their star players, but will she be able to crack the top five most popular NFL jerseys by the end of the season?”

The report also showed that one of the players with a jersey more popular than Swift’s, Travis Kelce, has seen 150,870 searches this season – the third-highest player. The only other layers with jerseys more popular than Kelce’s include Jordan Love and CeeDee Lamb.

Meanwhile, FlashPicks noted that Joe Burrow, Patrick Mahomes, Caleb Williams and Davante Adams also rank higher than Swift. The NFL Shop shows the most three popular Chiefs jerseys include Mahomes, Kelce and custom jerseys.

According to Google, interest in the NFL as a whole has increased since Swift began to attend Chiefs games in support of beau Kelce. By December 2023, searches for NFL-related content increased by nearly 47% compared to the year before. By January search interest was on pace to hit an all-time record.
