Arsenal vs Manchester United live updates: Premier League team news, predictions and latest score

Must read

Arsenal enjoyed their last outing, a 5-2 away win at West Ham on Saturday.

They raced into a 4-0 lead thanks to goals from Gabriel (another corner), Leandro Trossard, Martin Odegaard’s penalty, and Kai Havertz, but were pegged back by two goals in three minutes from full-backs Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Emerson Palmieri.

Bukayo Saka got in on the act in first-half stoppage time, making it 5-2 from the penalty spot, and that was how it stayed, with no goals in a quieter second half.

The manner of the two conceded will displease Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, but those were ultimately two small negatives on a broadly positive day for the north London side.

And that victory came after they thrashed Ruben Amorim’s former side, Sporting CP, 5-1 in the Champions League in Lisbon on Tuesday.
