A MISSING woman’s family has shared a worrying update after she texted her brother saying she was going shopping but then vanished.
Jayna Lang, 46, had been missing since November 24, when she told her brother she was doing some last-minute Thanksgiving shopping.
Her car, a 2016 White 4 Runner SUV with a customized Colorado license plate “JAYNA” was last seen in the Denver suburb of Littleton.
She was last heard from on November 24 at 11:17 am, when she texted her brother to say she was heading to the nearby Outlets at Silverthorne to do some holiday shopping.
“That was the last communication we had,” Eric Horvat told local ABC affiliate KMGH-TV.
The family sounded the alarm about Jayna’s disappearance when her boss called to say she didn’t show up for her shift at a pet salon last week Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.

On Wednesday, the Park County Sheriff’s Office posted photos of Jayna and her car on Facebook, asking the public to be on the lookout for her.
One person came forward to say they might have seen her SUV on Highway 6 driving from Breckenridge to Keystone.
TRAGIC UPDATE
After a week with few answers, her family shared an update on December 1.
Her sister-in-law, Stacy Laigo-Horvat, said they got some bad news but didn’t elaborate further.
“We were notified tonight with the not good news regarding my sister-in-law Jayna,” she wrote alongside sad face and broken heart emojis.
“We want to send all the thanks & appreciation to everyone nationwide for the love & prayers during this horrible time! For all the efforts in finding her & the time this past week!
“Please keep my husband in your thoughts & prayers!”
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to The U.S. Sun on Monday that her body was found and her cause of death was suicide.
WEEK-LONG SEARCH
Family and authorities previously said Jayna liked to visit Park County, especially the Indian Mountain subdivision.
Jayna’s family said she loved the outdoors and enjoyed going into the mountains whenever possible.
“My aunt and her talk every single day,” her brother said after her disappearance.
“Me and her, every couple days. So, for my aunt not to hear from her, it’s very, very, suspicious.”
They begged for her return before Sunday’s tragic find.
“We miss her,” Eric Horvat said.
“Tell her to come home. Give us a call. Let us know you’re OK.”
