The Dolphins have lost their last 11 games played when the temperature at kickoff was 40 degrees or lower. Barring a second-half comeback, that stretch of futility will reach 12 games as Miami trailed 24-3 at halftime against the Packers.
Green Bay dominated the first half in every phase. Quarterback Jordan Love threw two touchdown passes to Jayden Reed, while running back Josh Jacobs (who scored Green Bay’s second touchdown) led a ground game that churned out 102 yards on 16 carries in the game’s first 30 minutes.
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa had an efficient first half (he was 14 of 19 passing), but he received no help from a running game that amassed a putrid 14 yards on seven carries. Several pre-snap penalties, a muffed punt (that set up Green Bay’s first touchdown) and a missed fourth-down attempt that set up Green Bay’s field goal just before halftime also contributed to Miami’s first-half woes.
