From U.S. News & World Report’s database of middle schools, here are the ten best middle schools in the state of Louisiana.

These results include traditional middle schools, as well as charter schools and high schools that also teach middle-grades.

No. 1 Patrick F. Taylor Science & Technology Academy

Patrick F. Taylor Science & Technology Academy in Avondale is a part of Jefferson Parish Schools and is ranked number one in Louisiana Middle Schools by U.S. News & World Report.
