CHAMPAIGN — A local real estate firm with a significant presence in the Champaign-Urbana area has acquired three downtown properties that were recently involved in a foreclosure lawsuit.
“We are excited to officially announce that Green Street Realty is acquiring 802-804 N Neil, 106-108 S Neil and 111-113 N Walnut in Champaign,” Emerald Partners at Green Street Realty shared on social media. “CRS Hospitality will be working in collaboration with Green Street Realty to manage and operate the Carmon’s space. Our goal is to maintain and work with all previously booked events.”

Other businesses located at the sites include Surface 51 at 106 S. Neil St. and Plant Mode at 113 N. Walnut.
Guth and Associates brokered the sale, and Emerald Partners commended realtor Shannon Collins, chief acquisitions officer at Green Street Realty and owner and CEO of Emerald Partners, for her work on the project as well.
First Mid Bank & Trust and former property owner Downtown Champaign Holdings LLC reached an agreement for a consent foreclosure on the three sites in October.
