GREEN BAY – Leonardo Da Vinci School for Gifted Learners in the Green Bay School District, has been named Wisconsin’s best middle school and its second-best elementary school, according to U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 rankings.
Rankings are based on the proportion of students scoring proficient or above in math and language arts state assessments; the ranking system looks at scores both on their own and in the context of socioeconomic demographics. For more information on rankings, visit bit.ly/USNewsRankingsInfo.
Leonardo Da Vinci is a K-8 school for academically gifted students in the Green Bay School District. In 2022-23, nearly 84% of students scored proficient or above in language arts and nearly 93% scored proficient or above in math.
“The Green Bay Area Public School District is grateful that we have multiple pathways in our school district to meet the needs of each unique learner, with the goal for each student to be able to recognize their gifts and talents,” said a district spokesperson.
