Make that four straight regular season wins for Buffalo over Kansas City.
It was another classic in the Patrick Mahomes-Josh Allen rivalry as the Bills won 30-21 to hand Kansas City their first loss of the season, continuing the Miami Dolphins’ now 51-year old streak of being the only team in the Super Bowl era to finish a season unbeaten.
Josh Allen’s 26-yard touchdown run sealed the deal for the Bills who remained firmly in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC.
Allen finished 27-of-40 for 262 yards and a passing touchdown to go along with 55 yards on the ground and the rushing TD. The Buffalo defense was excellent as well, holding the Chiefs to just 259 yards of total offense and turning Kansas City over twice.
In Santa Clara, the Seahawks stole one from the 49ers on a late Geno Smith touchdown run to win 20-17. The Cardinals, at 6-4, are leading the NFC West, with the Rams, 49ers and Seahawks all at 5-5 in the crowded division. And in Denver, the Broncos made short work of the Falcons, 38-6. Bo Nix threw for more than 300 yards and for four touchdown passes in the win that gets Denver over .500 and they’re firmly in the playoff chase in the AFC with their rookie quarterback.
