News: The 45th annual Mile High Holiday Mart, presented by the Junior League of Denver, takes place Nov. 15-17 at the Gates Field House on the University of Denver campus, 2201 E. Asbury Ave.
The venue will be filled with vendors – the majority of whom are local – offering food, clothing, jewelry and other items perfect for holiday giving.
Vendors include Seven Barrels Co., whose olive oils and aged Italian balsamics are ideal for the cook in the family; Loredana’s gourmet foods; Ashley Schenkein Jewelry Design; Rough Around the Edge, purveyor of handcrafted granite and natural stone creations; A Small Batch, handmade soaps; Wildwood, a bespoke wooden handbag company; and the popular Junior League of Denver cookbooks.
The VIP shopping experience is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 15, with the mart opening to the public at 1 p.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. Those holding the $40 VIP tickets also receive free parking, winter beverages and breakfast bites.
Subsequent hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 10 am. To 4 p.m. on Nov. 17.
General admission tickets are $10. Veterans and University of Denver ID holders are admitted free, as are those who bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Together for Colorado Toy Drive to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
Food trucks will be on site during the mart, with What Would Cheesus Do? and its gourmet grilled cheese offerings operating from 1-6 p.m. on Nov. 15; Blessed BBQ and its Texas barbecue from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 16 and Comida Ranchera Mexican food from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 17.

Since its start in 1980, the Mile High Holiday Mart has raised $6.1 million for the Junior League of Denver and its various programs and initiatives.
About the organization: The Junior League of Denver was founded in 1918 and is a nonprofit organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration and training. Its members are currently working to disrupt the cycle of systemic poverty for women and families in Denver. The league also is known for starting such Denver institutions as the Children’s Museum, Mile High Transplant Bank and Red Rocks concerts.
