WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Library, 407 12th St., Worthington, is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library, 214 Maine Ave., Adrian, is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Holiday closures: The Adrian and Worthington libraries will be closed Monday in observance of Veterans Day. The Adrian and Worthington libraries will close at 5 p.m. Nov. 27 and be closed Nov. 28 through Nov. 30 in observance of Thanksgiving.

Books for adults: “Into the Sunset” by Mary Connealy, “Murder on the Page” by Daryl Wood Gerber, “Women’s Hotel” by Daniel M. Lavery, “The Blue Hour” by Paula Hawkins and “One of Us is Dead” by Peter James.

Large print books for adults: “The Baking Games” by Rachel Hanna, “Santa’s Secret” by Fern Michaels, “The Cowboy’s Forgotten Love” by Tina Radcliffe, “Murder Island” by James Patterson and “A Convenient Christmas Wife” by Rebecca Kertz.

Audiobooks: “Triangle” by Danielle Steel.

Books for youths: “So Cold!” by John Coy, “Fox is Coming!” by James Patterson and Joe Kulka and “Narwhal: Unicorn of the Arctic” by Candace Fleming.

After School Programs: Stop by or call the library at (507) 295-5340 to sign up your children. Children are responsible for their own ride to and from the library.

Monday: Wii U/XBox gaming (grades 4-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Tuesday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Wednesday: Story Time (toddlers-preschoolers), 10 to 11 a.m.; Just Gurlz (girls grades 5-9), 3:15 to 4:45 p.m.

Thursday: Kids Club (grades K-5), 3:30 to 4:45 p.m.

Happening at the Worthington library

Nov. 12: Doug Ohman presents “Living the Dream — Historic Homes of Minnesota”, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Ecumen Meadows, 1801 Collegeway, Worthington.

Please note: The Nobles County Libraries (Adrian and Worthington) are not accepting donations of items until further notice. Please do not leave donations outside of the building or put them in the book drops.

Art Club: Art Club meets at 5:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month. There is no cost to join and all are welcome!

Art Show: The annual Holiday Show & Sale continues through Dec. 13. The show is open during regular business hours, as well as Saturdays on Nov. 16 and 23, and Dec. 7.
