Lubbock business news includes Outlaw Egg Rolls, tortillas, store closures

Must read

Hello A-J readers!

This week saw break-ins, pending closures of two businesses and the opening of a new tortilla business.

The week brought a string of early morning break-ins at multiple businesses along Indiana Avenue and 82nd Street. The businesses included restaurants, salons, a toy store and a music store. As of Thursday, an arrest has not been made.

Outlaw Egg Rolls food truck announced its final day of business would be Dec. 15. The owner is willing to have a new person come in to take the business and the ongoing event contracts. Another closure comes from American Freight, which is closing all of its stores, including the Lubbock location at 4426 34th St,, Suite B. A final day of business was not announced, though the closure sales have started.

Villa’s Tortillas, 2331 34th St., opened on Thursday. The new shop sells freshly made flour and corn tortillas.

Going into next week, I’m looking forward to meeting with the owner of a new restaurant in Wolfforth and the owners of Lubbock’s recently opened DryBar. The A-J team is also working on holiday content, so stay tuned for the fun stuff coming soon.

As always, thank you for reading and supporting the A-J.
