Thousands flock to Christmas at the Highlands for holiday shopping spree

Must read

Thousands of people from across the Tri-State area got a head start on their holiday shopping this weekend.

The annual Christmas at the Highlands featured over two hundred vendors from eight states, making it the largest craft show in West Virginia.

Admission is three dollars per person, with proceeds benefiting a scholarship through Wheeling Park High School’s Career Tech Center.

“We come out here every year. This is our third year,” said craft vendor Dave Doty. “It’s great because there are a lot of people that come through here—thousands of people—and we know an awful lot of them ourselves.”

If you haven’t had a chance to stop by, the event also runs on Sunday from 10 AM until 3 PM.
